This privacy policy describes how the WeTrack Extension ("the Extension") collects, uses, and discloses information when installed on client devices within the WeTrack workspace.

1. Information Collection and Use

The Extension collects and processes active browser tab information, specifically:

• Tab URLs & Domains: We collect active website domains and titles to measure and categorize time spent on work-related vs. browsing websites.
• Active Windows: We log active tab switches to determine active workspace sessions.

2. Data Transmission

All collected website browsing information is sent securely via native messaging and ECDH-encrypted channels directly to the local WeTrack Desktop Agent client running on the user's computer. The data is only transmitted to the organization's self-hosted/private WeTrack server instance under secure API authentication. We do not sell or transmit user data to third parties.

3. User Consent and Policies

This extension is managed by your organization's IT department. Data collection operates strictly in accordance with your organization's device tracking policies and user consents.

We employ standard local encryption and secure network communication methods to safeguard the integrity of captured activity slots and telemetry.
